The Mets will continue on WFAN

In August I wrote a journal entry about WFAN. It was announced today that the Mets will continue to broadcast their games on that 50,000 watt clear channel station. WFAN is now re-broadcast on WXRK-HD3. The station commenced on July 1, 1987 at 1050 AM. In October 1988 the station moved to 660 AM, thus the Met games have been broadcast on that station since its inception. Let me try to recall other stations that have carried their games since 1962. I will not include the years or backup stations:

WFAN
WABC
WHN
WJRZ
WWDJ
WABC-FM
WNBC-FM
WNEW-AM
WADO (Spanish)
