Bruce's Journal

Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. For the last 20 years I have worked as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. I have been married to Karen since 1983. We have a son Lee who is now 24 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. Since the inception of the team in 1962 I have been a big fan of the New York Mets.

My laptop is out for repair

You may wonder why Bruce’s Journal has been inactive for about a week. Very simple, my laptop computer at home has conked out. It just refused to power up when I turned it on. Luckily I bought an extended warranty and brought it back for repairs. It will be away for a week or two at least. I have written out this blog entry on my old computer. I do not want to use to access the Internet because it would be very slow. I am writing this on Saturday night October16th an will upload it on Monday when I return to work.
