Yesterday we heard the sad news that classic rock guitarist Jeff Beck died of bacterial meningitis at age 78. There is a detailed obituary in the New York Times. Before he led his own band, he was a member of the Yardbirds. One of my favorite hits of theirs was Over, Under, Sideways, Down. I remember buying it as a 45 rpm single.
