When I heard the sad news about the murder of Darryl Hamilton I vaguely remembered that he played for the Mets, but I did not remember what years. His statistics from Baseball-Reference show that he played for the Mets from 1999-2001. He even appeared in the post-season for them in 99-00. Darryl also played for Milwaukee, Colorado, San Francisco and Texas.
It was a very sad and tragic situation. My condolences to his family and friend.
