In an NBC News exclusive, it was reported that Charles Spencer, brother of the late Princess Diana, revealed that he was sexually abused at age 11. He is now 59 years old. Why should anybody care about what happened to him 48 years ago? I never understood the fascination of the American public with the British royal family. Charles Spencer is a marginal member of the family. I think this is a perfect example of the media creating the news and brainwashing viewers that this is important.
