Turn Turn Turn has to be my favorite Pete Seeger song which he adapted from the Book of Ecclesiastes. Of course the Byrds covered the song which was a majaor hit in 1966. Pete certainly was an American icon as he was an environmentalist in addition to his career as a musician. He influenced many recording artists in the folk music genre.
