It was reported that New York Knick great Dick Mcguire died at age 84. I remember back in 1966-67 using my high school G.O. card to go Knick games at the old Madison Square Garden (8th Avenue and 50th Street) for $1.25. Yes, those were the days before the multimillion dollar contracts. My friend Paul Vernon and I would wait for the players to exit after the game to try to get autographs. I remember once meeting Dick McGuire and asking him if Bill Bradley was coming to the Knicks.
