We started the season with a new ball park and hopes that the Mets would at least be contenders in the National League East after being eliminated on the final day of the regular season for two years in a row. The latest news is that star pitcher Johann Santana will have bone chips removed and miss the rest of the season. The following players have missed significant time this season:- Carlos Beltran
