New Jersey Chemistry Olympics

Since 1984 the Chemistry Department at NJIT has held a chemistry olympics.  High school students from all over New Jersey come to compete.  Since the mid 1990s I have run the information search.  I pick a chemical substance and the students must search the internet to find information on it.  The kids seem to enjoy it.  NJIT uses it as a tool to recruit students.  Every year I have received a shirt with a different color.
