Bruce's Journal

Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. For the last 20 years I have worked as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. I have been married to Karen since 1983. We have a son Lee who is now 24 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. Since the inception of the team in 1962 I have been a big fan of the New York Mets.

I highly suggest that my friends from the Jay Buckley get this book with an audio CD. It is a biography of Harry with Pat Hughes giving a commentary on the CD. Harry did play by play for the Cardinals, Oakland A's, White Sox and Cubs. He really loved baseball for his entire life. He rightfully earned his place in Cooperstown.
