First Visit to the New York Transit Museum Since February 2008

It has been a very long time since we visited the New York Transit Museum in downtown Brooklyn.  I actually did a search of this journal and determined that we were last there in February 2008.  There are always permanent exhibits in a museum so we say the old turnstiles, tokens and subway cars from different eras of the system.  There was an exhibit of how the system was constructed early in the 20th century.

There was a new exhibit on how the transportation recovered to disasters including 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, the 2003 blackout, and the blizzard of December 2010.
