Remembering My Mentor Vitaut Kipel

Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. For the last 20 years I have worked as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. I have been married to Karen since 1983. We have a son Lee who is now 24 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. Since the inception of the team in 1962 I have been a big fan of the New York Mets.

Funny you should mention pastrami. It's not something one usually finds on menus here in MN. However, we were at a tiny eating place in a tiny town near us, and they had pastrami! So Dave tried it. I had meatloaf. I'm sure his pastrami was not nearly as good as anything I've had in Brooklyn! Those were the "good old days."
