Since the weather was very cold today, it meant a walk over to the local multiplex. We saw the new Tom Cruise movie Valkyrie. It was about a plot by German officers to kill Adolph Hilter, the most miserable man to ever exist on the earth. I didn't realize that there were 15 unsuccessful plots to kill him during World War II. Although the conspiracy depicted in this movie failed, Hitler committed suicide 9 months later when he realized that the Allies were going to defeat him. If he were captured he would have been executed as Saddam Hussein was 60 years later. I highly recommend this film.Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired 8 years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 37 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Valkyrie - Our First Movie of the Year
