Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Atlanta Hawks 99 New York Knicks 96 at Madison Square Garden

Since Knick tickets are usually so expensive, we have only gone to college basketball games at Madison Square Garden. Several weeks ago the team waved its Ticketmaster fees for online purchases so we bought tickets for today's game at a reasonable price. The Knicks have improved since last season, but they have a problem in holding leads toward the end of the game.

The game was close for most of the way, but with 2:16 left the Knicks could not hold a 93-87 lead. Kent Bazemore hit a 3-pointer with 6.7 seconds to play to put the Hawks ahead. Tim Hardaway Jr. missed a potential tieing 3 point shot to give the Hawks the victory.

They had a contest asking fans to send a selfie to Twitter or Instagram. The winner would get 2 free airline tickets from Delta. I had nothing to lose by entering.
