Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival Tripleheader at Barclays Center

Gee, it is late December and the Slutskys have not yet been to a basketball game.  Who wants to pay over $100/ticket to see the Knicks who have won 5 and lost 27.  We took a long subway ride to downtown Brooklyn to see some college hoops.  In the first game the nationally ranked St. John's Red Storm took on Tulane. Sir'Dominic pointer led St. John's with a career high 24 points and 7 steals as they routed Tulane 24-7.

Game Recap

Ameen Tanksley scored a career-high 32 points and Juan'ya Green had the first triple-double in program history as Hofstra routed LIU Brooklyn 88-62 on Sunday at the Barclays Center.  I also found out that former Hofstra star Craig "Speedy" Claxton is now an assistant coach for the Pride.

Game Recap

We didn't stay for the third game which featured Fairfield play Loyola of Maryland.  While the first two game were one-sided, Loyola won 61-59 in overtime.
