I heard this oldie but goodie this morning on Sirius/XM 50s on 5 channel. It reminded of the "dog days" at CCNY from 1967-72. When I say "dog day" I am not referring to the hot and humid says of August. I mean the two legged and four legged dogs of that era. The latter of course refers to pets while the former was an unattractive young lady. If a friend was desperate to get a date he would go out with any "dog" that he could find. Those were the days.
